The Department of Labor is located at 233 Main Street around the corner from the Civic Center.

Randstad In-house Service will be at the Workforce New York Department of Labor offices on December 2nd and 16th at  9:00am recruiting for full and part time Merchandise Handlers to work in a large distribution center in Fishkill, NY

Details:  Load or unload cartons weighing up to 65 pounds (over an 8 hour shift)
Perform clerical input into computer terminals
Take inventory of merchandise; perform ticketing, stocking picking, packing counting, housekeeping, and safety
Work in higher elevated areas of the warehouse

During PEAK SEASON overtime may be required which varies by department and shift.  There are other various job functions the merchandise handlers perform.  It is critical that all those assigned to the Merchandise Handler position be flexible in their job duties and availability.

You pick the days you want to work based on availability and the amount of hours each week that fits your schedule.  The warehouse operates Sunday thru Saturday. 
The hours that are available are:
7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm  - 11:00 pm, and 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. 
Pay schedule is:
1st shift $10.25/hour, 2nd shift $10.65/hour, and 3rd shift $10.80/hour

FedEx will be at the Workforce New York Department of Labor offices on November 3rd from 10:00am to 11:00am recruiting for temporary Non-CDL drivers.

Temporary non-CDL drivers are needed to deliver packages to commercial and residential customers.  Previous driving experience a plus.  Full and part time positions available.  Positions to last through December 2008 and are available in Dutchess County and Orange County.   Drug testing, physical and criminal background checks will be conducted.  A good driving record is required.
